Waiting to feel alive
Fooling ourselves thinking like this we'll survive
But it's not alright, we're not alright
Crawling through these black days
Everything's the same, we're damaged, we are vain
We are half alive, we're half alive
But you say
That you don't need me when you drown, to catch you when you're falling down
We are half alive
We can barely survive
We fake a smile, we hide the pain, we fall and crash, we're not the same
I don't feel alright
We are half alive
Numb men shaking cold hands
This is who we become, withered without love
But it's not alright, we're not alright
I forgot how's life out of this room
I want to see the sky but it won't be soon
We are half alive, we're half alive
But you say
That you don't need me when you drown, to catch you when you're falling down
We are half alive
We can barely survive
We fake a smile, we hide the pain, we fall and crash, we're not the same
I don't feel alright
We are half alive
But you say
That you don't need me when you drown, to catch you when you're falling down
We are half alive
We can barely survive
We fake a smile, we hide the pain, we fall and crash, we're not the same
I don't feel alright
We are half alive
Been a while since I had a new band whose music I experience on a visceral level. Shame I only discovered them now (Feb 2016). This band deserves more attention.
Wreck is an awesome long piece with a perfect ending. Go listen to it to know what I'm talking about. VegaDI
In Adrian Snood’s songs, soulful vocals and slow-moving alt-pop swirl together to create something distinctly moving. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 1, 2023
Potent pop songs from this Ontario artist with an alternative edge thanks to toothy guitars & synths that go off like fireworks. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 28, 2022
